A phygital sculpture by Conrad Dreyer

Phygital Sculptures

| Art   Sculpture   Augmented Reality

These three sculptures blur the line between the physical and digital worlds. As part of the Detmold Design Week 2024, visitors could experience the work up close as part of the exhibition "alles gut."

The works examine the dichotomy between the internal and external perception of a person. What do we carry on the outside, what only deep down within us?

The physical sculptures are digitally expanded and enhanced using augmented reality, thus opening up new ways of interpreting the obvious.

In order to be able to experience the works in their full interaction, it was enough Scan a QR code placed at the exhibition, allow the camera and point your smartphone at one of the sculptures tracking markers.
